Engineer turner development professional.
Grew up in a small temple town of Vaikom in Kottayam, Kerala. Completed my schooling from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Kottayam, and then went on to pursue B.Tech in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from College of Engineering Trivandrum.
Shortly after graduating as an electrical engineer, I started my career as a software engineer in one of the major automobile brands. I wrote codes that went into automobiles for over two years. It was then that I began thinking about the long-term impact of my work. I realized that I was working for the luxury of the already privileged and that I would rather work for the needs of the underprivileged.
Later, I joined IIT Bombay for an M.Tech in Technology and Development. This is a course offered by the Centre for Technology Alternatives for Rural Areas (CTARA). I am currently working as a CSR professional.
I am passionate about women and women’s issues. I love reading books, traveling, yoga and meditation.
